Are you an experienced technical writer looking for an exciting opportunity to enhance user experience and documentation at Gradle Enterprise? As a Senior Technical Writer, you will collaborate with our Engineering and Developer Advocacy teams to create, extend, and restructure technical documentation, empowering our customers with knowledge and self-service capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Own all user-facing Gradle Enterprise documentation, including installation, operations, and functionality
- Embed product changes into the documentation received from Engineering
- Coordinate and drive progress, ensuring consistency across all documentation
- Serve as the primary contact for any documentation-related inquiries
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in writing technical documentation for enterprise SaaS products
- Familiarity with deploying and using enterprise products
- Knowledge of AsciiDoc and/or Markdown
- Proficiency in Linux systems and common commands
- Understanding of cloud platforms and build/CI tools
- Ability to plan and execute large-scale documentation changes
- Strong written English skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Software engineering experience
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Familiarity with docs-as-code processes
- Passion for simplifying complex technical concepts for a wide audience
