Are you an experienced individual in the field of accounts payable and banking? The Ohio State University is currently seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Senior Coordinator to join our team in the Banking & Settlement department. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time, remote position that provides the opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process non-USD wire payments in Workday, recording them accurately
- Handle supplier-issued credits and assist with reporting tasks
- Collaborate with the BS Lead to encourage suppliers to enroll in electronic payments
- Monitor daily settlement runs and initiate urgent ad hoc transactions as needed
- Provide informal assistance, training, and coaching to less experienced colleagues and external suppliers
- Research and resolve unusual or less-frequent issues and questions related to accounts payable
- Respond to accounts payable correspondence promptly and professionally
- Serve as a backup to other Central Accounts Payable teams when required
- Actively listen to and empathize with customers’ complaints or concerns, offering satisfactory resolutions
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in banking and settlement runs, accounts payable, or the procure-to-pay function
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree
- Familiarity with Ohio State policies and proficiency in Workday, OnBase, and Brainware document software
- Lean Six Sigma green belt or other project management skills/experience

Additional Information:
- The Target Hiring Range for this position is $17.10 to $22.61 per hour.
- This is a regular position with scheduled hours of 40 per week.
