Age Limit
The aspirant mustn’t be lower than 18( Eighteen) times old and mustn’t be further than 30( Thirty) times old as of 01.01.2023. Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 05( five) times for the campaigners belonging to the orders of slated gentries( SC) & slated lines( ST) and by 03( three) times for the campaigners belonging to the orders of Other Backward Classes( OBC). Home Guard/ NVF labor force serving in West Bengal Police are also eligible for relaxation of upper age limit as per being Government order

Qualification
The aspirant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its original.
Language-( i) The aspirant must be suitable to speak, read and write the Bengali language. still, this provision won’t be applicable to the persons who are endless residers of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong sections.
ii) For the aspirant of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong sections, the vittles laid down in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 will be applicable
